Baitual Aman Mosque is a place where Muslims pray. There are 5 prayers (salah) in total that Muslims must pray. They’re called Fajr (sunrise prayer), Dhuhr (noon prayer), Asr (afternoon prayer), Maghrib (sunset prayer), and Isha (night prayer). They clean themselves, which is called wudo then they pray on a prayer mat. When they pray they have to cover themselves as much as they can.

The people there tried to teach us how to pray but I think everyone’s still confused except for me. They said first make the intention to pray then raise your hands up next to your ears and shoulders, then say “Allāhu akbar” which means “Allah (God) is the greatest” which starts your prayer. Now you place your right hand over your left on either your chest, navel, or between both, and start saying surahs (chapters in the Quran). Say "Allahu Akbar" again and bend your body so that your back and neck are straight and level with the ground, keeping your eyes focused on the ground and keep your fingers and palm on the knees. Now you say Subhanna Rabbiyal Adheem three times, this translates to, "Glorious is my Lord the most great." Then you go back up and say “Samiallah Huliman Hamidah” which means "Allah hears those who praise Him". Say Allahu Akbar and go to the floor so that your head, knees, and hand touch the floor which is sujdah. Now say Subhanna Rabbiyal A'laa (Glorious is my Lord, the most High) 3 times. Now pick up your head and go back down(say Allahu Akbar both times) and say big duas (small surahs) and now turn your head to the right and say “As-salamu alaykum wa Rahma kaatuhu tullahi wa Bara” now do the same thing but turn your head to the left.
